Why I Ride/Crew?

h2b2013trinityRecently, one of our Riders told us that he thought everyone who signed up for Harbor to the Bay had a story behind why they participated. Some ride/crew because they lost someone dear. Others ride to support friends. Still others ride for the challenge.

Riders and crew, we think you have stories and we would love for you to share them with us. Please use the comments field of this post.

I started crewing for H2B because too many of my friends died from HIV/AIDS. My friend Ivan (in the picture) is the last friend to die from this disease and I wish to keep it that way. I continue because I love the dedication of our riders and crew. And face it, Ride Day is a blast!

-To carry on the caring legacy of my brother Michael
-to help raise awareness and money for the never ending fight to cure
    AIDS/HIV.
-to enjoy the camaraderie on the day of the ride
-because this ride saves lives through research, education and care.
-to be a part of a very special and personal journey.
