Dear Riders and Crew,
Happy May! Memorial Day weekend is just around the corner, and summer will be here before we know it. Registration is OPEN for Harbor to the Bay Ride 15 – sign up now to ride or crew with us on September 23rd, 2017! We know how much you love the ride – why not train and ride with a friend this year? We have some great events and training rides lined up for you this summer, so make sure you and your plus one are registered and start cycling!
Happy Bike Week!
Now that this warm weather is (hopefully) here to stay, Massachusetts is kicking of cycling season with Bike Week from May 15-May 20th. Here in Boston, the week will culminate in the annual Bike to Work Day Festival on May 19th. From 7-9am this Friday, you can join hundreds of other cyclists for a cycling expo, coffee and breakfast to celebrate bike commuting in the city. Harbor to the Bay will be at the Festival with plenty of swag, so stop by our booth and bring any friends who would like to learn more about the ride!

Volunteer Opportunity with Harbor to the Bay
Interested in earning a $50 credit to your fundraising goal? The H2B planning committee needs help putting up fliers in bike shops, gyms etc. around Boston, Somerville and Cambridge – once you pick up and hang posters in your neighborhood, we’ll issue a $50 credit to your fundraising page.
Cool off with Ketel One
It might only be May, but we’ve already had some hot summer afternoons here in Boston. Be sure to keep hydrated on your training rides and cool off with a Ketel One Strawberry Mule on your rest days.
To make your strawberry mule, muddle 2 fresh strawberries with .75 oz of simple syrup in the bottom of a mixing glass. Add 1.5 oz of Ketel One Vodka and 1 oz of fresh lime juice and shake with ice. Once cold, strain it into a copper mug filled with ice and top with your favorite ginger beer.
Thank you for helping to provide much-needed funding to help our beneficiaries! We hope you’re taking advantage of the early cycling weather and we look forward to your joining us for Ride 15!
See you soon,
The H2B Board and Planning Committee
