This past week I finally took the plunge to ask my friends and relatives to support my ride. I am incredibly grateful for the support they have shown. While I have not yet reached my fund raising goal I am …
I have searched for a way to combine my dedication to personal fitness with philanthropy. I have settled on the Harbor-To-Bay ride. It is a one-day bike ride from Boston to Provincetown, MA (125 miles) to raise money for HIV & AIDS work. I have never ridden a bike further then 30 miles in one day and it was really hard. This ride is a serious challenge for me.
I am going to dedicate my spare time to train for this arduous ride on September 19th. I am reaching out to you for your emotional and financial support. My goal is to raise $2,000 for this ride. If you do choose to support my ride financially you should know that I have chosen AIDS Action Committee. They will get 100% of the money without any overhead or deductions. Please also follow my trials and tribulations as I periodically report on my training progress.
Make it a great day,
