I hope this message finds you enjoying a nice, relaxing summer. Here’s an update on how Noah and I are doing with our training and fundraising for the 125 mile Harbor to the Bay charity bike ride on Saturday, September …
Hello Friends and Family,
On September 19th I'm riding 126 miles from Boston to Provincetown because I believe that everyone deserves a chance at living a healthy, dignified life. That's why I'm participating in the Harbor to the Bay bike ride because 100% of the money raised by riders like myself, goes directly to four different local HIV/AIDS agencies that provide quality health care, medications, support, and important HIV/AIDS prevention, education and advocacy work.
My goal is to raise $1,000 for Harbor to the Bay by September 1st. AIDS Action is the beneficiary I chose because I know the tangible difference that $1,000 will make for its clients. It will provide an entire year of mental health counseling for an individual struggling with a diagnosis, or stock the kitchen at Youth on Fire, a homeless youth drop-in center, for two whole months.
I know that you get requests like this every day, so I appreciate your thoughtful consideration of mine. I hope you will join with me in support of AIDS Action Committee.
