HARBOR TO THE BAY is a one day bike ride from Boston to Provincetown that improves community awareness and care for people living with HIV and AIDS. Our mission is to give 100% of what we raise to our beneficiaries! No politics, no elaborate production -- just a dedicated group of individuals who want to ride and make a difference in our community. This is a grass roots initiative, and we are solely run by volunteers!
H2B is not a race! We welcome participants of all abilities to join us, whether as a crewmember or a rider. However you contribute, all we ask is that you commit to making a difference.
H2B KICKOFF PARTY! H2B is welcoming back all of our 2007 participants and saying "Hello!" to all of our 2008 friends on Wednesday, May14th. Click here for more info.
On Saturday, September 20, 2008, all riders will leave from Boston and ride together to the Sagamore Bridge. At the Bridge, those who have accomplished their goals will find transportation waiting to take them to Provincetown. Those riders who want to challenge themselves further, or have found their “second wind,” can continue on as far as they see fit. Another option is to start at the Sagamore Bridge and ride to Provincetown. Our dedicated crewmembers will be there along the entire route to support you!
If you’ve always wanted to try a long distance ride, but have never ridden more than 10 miles on a bike, you’ll fit in perfectly! New riders will find the 68 mile ride to the Sagamore Bridge an enjoyable challenge. Or, if you’re a seasoned rider, carry on beyond the Bridge to conquer 125 miles in one day!
If riding isn’t your thing, we need dedicated crewmembers to staff our pit stops, encourage our riders, and help with fundraising. Our crew is what makes this ride possible!
