Alright, you’re freaking out… it’s this SATURDAY!!

Final Week CountdownA lot to do in the final week…. It’ll all come together.  Just do something every day.

First things first….  Here’s a check list….

Read Lauren Doty’s H2B e-mail from last week.  Loaded with good info. Watch the Safety Video online.

Square up accommodations or your ferry ride back home.

RSVP for Closing Ceremony & buffet dinner (free for riders & crew)

RSVP for brunch at Bayside Betsy’s.

Continue asking friends, family & coworkers for donations to support your ride and the AIDS research & clients who depend on these AIDS-service organizations.

Lay out your apparel… do you have both shoes? How about socks? Do you have some good shorts?

You will need shades, sunblock, water bottle or two and maybe some outer layers for cool winds & rain.

Plan to attend the rider check in at Club Café Friday afternoon.

Get plenty of rest this week and watch your nutrition plan.  Stay hydrated.

Go do a five-mile sprint….  It’ll clear your anxious mind.

See you on the road!

    Great tips, Tim!

Be sure to let people know about the ride through multiple avenues. One close friend of mine got a direct email from me, saw work postings, I wrote a message on his whiteboard, saw the URL in my sig file, and how did he click through to donate today? A posting on my company’s internal social network!

If you’ve got friends who haven’t sponsored you, include them on your thank you email telling people how the ride went. Add a line to the thank you like: if you haven’t sponsored me and you’re getting this thank you, it isn’t too late click here. etc.

See you out there on the road everyone!
