To all the riders and crew of Ride 14:
There are not enough words for us to express just how grateful we are to have ridden, crewed, trained, fundraised, and cheered with you again. We – the 276 riders and 202 crew members of Ride 14 – raised over $440,000 to support four incredible HIV/AIDS organizations. Through we had a few bumps and spills along the way; by the time closing ceremonies began, we all were in Provincetown together.
Harbor to the Bay only happens because of YOU, our dedicated riders and crew. The respect and gratitude we have for each and every one of you could never be put into words; every one of you goes above and beyond to make our community and world a better place. You come with your stories of why you ride or crew from all over our country and it’s an honor to cycle and volunteer beside you year after year. We are so glad you choose to include Harbor to the Bay, and our beneficiaries, in your story.
For whatever reason you chose to be with us on ride weekend, know that Ride 14 would not have been the same without you. We began this journey together 14 years ago to raise money and awareness for those infected with and impacted by HIV/AIDS. I am so proud to say that as of today, we have raised more than 4.8 million dollars since 2003.
If you have folks who have not yet donated, please let them know there still is time to give to Harbor to the Bay this year. The last day for online donations is October 31st, but we will accept cash and check donations through November 15th.
Thank you again for all you do and for being a shining example of the good that exists in all of us and in our community. We can’t wait to ride and crew with you again next year. Save the date for Ride 15 on September 23rd, 2017!
All our best,
Jim Morgrage and the Harbor to the Bay Planning Committee and Board
