100 Mile Ride – Complete!

One Hundred Miles!!! Today I spent the day revisiting the North Shore, on my bike. I thought of John Affuso in Eastie, not much in Revere (guys on the beach) or Lynn (challenging roads), but then great people like Nannette Dumas and Richard P. Breed IV in Marblehead, family in Swampscott, David Eppley, and Timothy Kelliher in Salem, Andi FreedmanMark Scialdone andAlicia Guerrette in Beverly, Carmen Younger and Barbara Younger in Wenham, countless folks in Hamilton (I also visited my grandfather’s grave),Donna TaylorDanielle Suslak, and Charlie Younger in Ipswich/Essex,Catherine Thompson in Ipswich/Rowley, and of course my mother in Newburyport (hosting a BBQ for the residents of Ben’s house (thanks for the burger, Mom)). Then I turned it around and rode back to Boston, only to find Eddy Steigerwald strutting his stuff on Dorchester Avenue! If you haven’t yet, please consider donating to my 126 mile Harbor to the Bay Ride from Boston to Provincetown where ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of your donations go directly to charity –> Fenway Health.http://www.harbortothebay.org/profile/jobliny
